New Lifetime Series: One the Road with Austin & Santino
I recently received the promotional materials and the premier episode of the new Lifetime series – On the Road with Austin & Santino. Lifetime is one of the few channels that I consider imperative when choosing which package to buy on our television lineup. Their series are always something I look forward to premiering, and most of them end up being DVR’d so that I don’t miss any of them. So when I was contacted about On the Road with Austin & Santino, I was like, “Heck yea! Let me tell my readers about it.”
On the Road will premier after Project Runway on July 29th. It will be a fashion design makeover series that will feature Austin Scarlett and Santino Rice as they travel to small towns across the US and create designs for special women. These two men are very different, and this was apparent in the first episode when they could not come to an agreement on the initial plans for a dress design. They are both awesome (and did come to a compromise on this first design that was awesome).
The first episode sends Austin and Santino to Weatherford, Texas (woohoo! I was interested from the first being that they were in Texas!!!). Sadie is preparing for the annual “Cowgirl Chicks Ball,” and Austin and Santino are designing a dress for her to wear to this special occasion. It is quite an interesting show watching these city boys building a country dress.
There are 14 total episodes filmed that will take them to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, balls, graduations and bachelorette parties.
The series is produced by The Weinstein Company & Goodbye Pictures and will air on Lifetime Television.
If you are looking for something to watch next Thursday, check out On the Road with Austin & Santino on Lifetime.
