During the school year we try to have a Family Movie Night at least once a week (though sometimes it ends up being once every 2 weeks when life is so busy), but during the summer, we have 2 or 3 movie nights a week.  It’s nice knowing that we can . . . → Read More: Review/Giveaway: Penguins of Madagascar

Christmas Wish List

Have you started thinking about what you will get your children for Christmas? My dad wants to build Cameron a wooden tree house and says he’ll add a little to it each birthday/Christmas.  I think it would be neat to add a playground to it so I’ve been looking at swing sets. . . . → Read More: Christmas Wish List

Review: Caring Corners Daisy Greenway Interactive Camper

daisy1With the holiday season fast approaching, you are probably looking for unique ideas for the little ones on your list.  As my daughter gets older, I find that I have a harder time buying for our younger children on our list. While all of this is fun, for a 9 year old those last few yours can still equal boredom without some careful planning.

Thanks to Rand McNally and RoleMommy, I have a new form of “car-tainment” for our upcoming trip. Rand McNally has introduced their Boredom Breakers to “bring families together, encouraging conversation, laughter and fun making the miles fly by for moms and kids on the go.”

There are currently 5 different activities (available through Amazon):
