Exercise Isn’t Enough?

What do you do when it feels like you are working out on a regular basis (and making wise eating decisions) and still not losing weight?  I have always feared turning to any medication, but I don’t know how to get past it when it feels like everything I do is for nothing.  I’ve been looking and trying to decide what is the best fat burning supplement if I were willing to take medicine.  Is there something out there that is truly healthy but would also help burn some calories?  I have varied the exercise – still fluctuate back and forth about 5 pounds.  I hate reading online about all these supplements as according to them they are all the best, all healthy, etc.  And I believe none of them!  UGH!

Could I ask how old you are?
Have you have your thyroid checked?
And how much weight you want to lose?
Also do you vary your workouts?
    Do strength training?
I’m just curious because I’ve experienced plateaus for long periods of time.

I was watching Dr. Oz a while back and he said something about catering your diet to your DNA to help with your weight. Maybe you could look into that :)
