Halloween Notes – Keep Our Kids Safe
Posted in Announcements and tagged with Halloween, parenting, reminders, safety on 10/27/2009 08:03 pm by KimberlyThis time of year there are many things we need to remember.
- Halloween is the most dangerous day of the year for children to walk. Be sure to know where your children are at all times during Trick or Treating. Walk with them. Safe Kids USA has more tips for keeping the kiddos safe on Halloween.
- November 1st is Daylight Savings. Don’t forget to set your clocks back before you go to bed on Halloween.
- Change the batteries in your smoke alarms. Daylight Savings is a great time to do this every year. (Don’t forget carbon monoxide detectors too)
- November 1st through 7th is Safe Crossing Week.
