Lesson Learned: READ!!!

They say you should learn something every day.  What did I learn today?  To read the packaging and pay attention to what you are reading when shopping.

What did I do?

I outgrew my 500 gb external hard drive so I bought a new terabyte one.

The problem?

It requires electricity!  Yea…I have to move to a power cord and plug it in to use it.  BLAH!

So does anyone know if that is standard with hard drives this large? Or could I still get one that isn’t.  I wouldn’t mind having 2 backups of everything so it’s not a real big deal to buy another?
