Looking for Some New Vacations

As we’ve concluded our vacations for the summer, I’ve been looking at what can we do in the future.  After our Disney Cruise this summer, there’s not doubt that we’ll be adding Disney Cruises into our regular vacation plans as we already do Disney World.  I’d like to one day add Disneyland to the Disney’s that we’ve visited, but what about the non-Disney trips?

When Cameron is older and can appreciate it, I want to take her to Washington DC and New England.  And then I want to take her to see the national landmarks/parks – Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, and then go overseas.  I’d love to try some things like backpacking, european river cruises, and so many other Europe adventures.

I also thought when she was a little older (but not much), we might make it our mission to visit all 50 states, and not just drive through – at least one tourist item in every state – a park, a festival, something.  It could be fun finding something to do in every state.

I am a single mom who loves to share her opinions with her friends. I am the oldest sibling of 3 brothers and 2 sisters. They have given me 8 nieces and nephews that I love spoiling every chance I have. We live in a small rural community in East Texas. I teach junior high and high school classes including high school English and business and technology courses to junior high and high school students. I enjoy blogging on various sites, keeping up with family and friends on Twitter, Facebook, and a few special forums, reading, almost all technology, and playing logic games. We are a Disney family taking trips to Walt Disney World or cruising with Disney almost every year.

The British Isles is a great trip! I went to England, Ireland and Scotland when I was 16 and just had an amazing time :)
