Review: The Piece of the Puzzle
I am always looking for unique gifts for my students – whether it be thinking of you, birthday, good luck, or graduation gifts, and when I saw The Piece of the Puzzle Affirmative Jewelry, I thought what a great gift for such occasions. Not only that, but because I always have a class puzzle going on in my classroom, I knew that my students would find such a gift especially special.
When I contacted The Good Cheer Company requesting a sample to review, I was delighted that they said yes.
What is Piece of the Puzzle Affirmative Jewelry?
They are small silver puzzle pieces with the words “I am” on one side and your choice of 40 different adjectives on the other side including Possibilities (that’s the one they sent me which seems perfect as a graduation gift), Authentic, Awesome, Blessed, Brave, Devoted, Fearless, Heroic, Loved, Original, Strong, and True. You can get the small charms as a loose puzzle piece, on a split ring for easy attachment to a key ring, on an elastic id bracelet, on a leather adjustable necklace, a ball chain necklace, or a sterling silver chain necklace. They are also now offering 9 different Pet Affirmation Tags to place on your dog’s collars. The choices include I Am: Adorable, A Good Boy, A Good Girl, Learning New Tricks, Obedient!
What The Good Cheer Company Says:
Each one of us is an important piece of the whole of life! And there are times when we forget this truth. These shiny pewter puzzle pieces (with I AM on one side and an affirmative word on the other) were created to make you feel good about yourself and to remind you that you belong, that you are an invaluable part of life’s puzzle! When you carry the tokens in your pocket or wear them as bracelets and necklaces – the wish is that you’ll remember who you really are! Without you the puzzle is incomplete.
The Southern Girl’s Review:
As I previously mentioned, I LOVE the idea. I think it is so awesome to encourage other people to think positively about themselves. The quality is also very good. However, maybe it’s too good to wear as a necklace. I think it would make a nice bracelet charm, but it’s kind of heavy for a necklace (of course I don’t like things very close to my neck so that may be why I felt this way). I think it is perfect for a bracelet or keychain though. And the prices are beyond reasonable – a charm is only $5! Can you say stocking stuffer?
A Little Extra Info:
The Good Cheer Company also produces a CD called Cheers to You! According to Ellen DeGeneres, “It’s basically an entire CD with a man’s voice giving you a pep talk with applause — it’s really the most hilarious thing I’ve heard in my life.”
I apologize for the stock photos, my camera would not take pictures of the details of this beautiful piece without a glare that made it impossible to see the words.
