Reviewing Your Finances

One of the first steps I have taken this summer in able to gain more control of our finances is to review all of my current bills to see where we could cut and save money.  Most of my services are under contract, but for those that aren’t, I’ve been looking at competitors.  I am focusing next week on my insurance policies.  I would like to find cheap insurance that still does the job.  If I don’t find an alternative business, I at least will be raising my deductible (I’ve put back enough in savings so that I can raise it). I also pay for some extras that I’m thinking of canceling such as rental insurance and such.  Any other recommendations for lowering your bills without eliminating services?
