Sessions Today

This morning I went to Business of You: Advanced Social Media, Syndication and Stats and I think it was the best session I’ve been to. It was the only one that I’ve actually grabbed a pen and taken notes. I found it useful not just interesting!  Good job ladies at running a great session.

Sitting in the MommyBlogging session sponsored by Johnson and Johnson called Healthcare by Committee.  Wasn’t sure what to expect, but nothing else looked all that intriguing so I decided to see what was going on in here.  Small group of us and seems interesting so far.  Focus right now is on looking up health information when you (or someone you know) is sick.  Think someone has something major? Do you look up the symptons? Which sites should you use.  Panelist says it depends on what is wrong with you as difference sites are good for different illnesses.  Think you have Mesothelioma cancer? You’ll go to a different site than someone who is worried about pregnancy issues.  ok…Going to stop writing and listen more closely.

I am a single mom who loves to share her opinions with her friends. I am the oldest sibling of 3 brothers and 2 sisters. They have given me 8 nieces and nephews that I love spoiling every chance I have. We live in a small rural community in East Texas. I teach junior high and high school classes including high school English and business and technology courses to junior high and high school students. I enjoy blogging on various sites, keeping up with family and friends on Twitter, Facebook, and a few special forums, reading, almost all technology, and playing logic games. We are a Disney family taking trips to Walt Disney World or cruising with Disney almost every year.
