Summer Fun with Cars 2 The Video Game
One of my favorite memberships is with BzzAgent. We’ve been able to try some really neat products and recently we received a GREAT opportunity that my daughter is so excited about – the opportunity to host a Cars 2: The Video Game demo party to share the game with all of her friends. We are having our party next week so she’s been playing the game on our Wii so she can show all of … Read entire article »

Guitar Hero: Nintendo DS
Cameron had to have a Nintendo DS a few years ago when all of her uncles had one. It was not important that she was 4 and they were 16 (or older). They had them and she NEEDED one. Being the mean wonderful mommy I am, I refused to buy her one but did buy her a handheld educational game system with promises that if she actually played it and took care of it, we’d look at DS’s in the future. Leave it to those “uncles” to ruin my promise. The next Christmas one uncle bought her the DS, and two others went together and bought her a Wii. Thanks – I love you brothers of mine! :) I was quickly finding though that I enjoyed the DS (and Wii too … Read entire article »

Big Bang Mini
I was recently sent a new DS game to try and it has quickly become one of my favorites. Usually Cameron (my 8 year old) and I like different types of games, but this time we agree that this one gets a “2 thumbs up.” Which game? Big Bang Mini from SouthPeak games. Our DS had almost started sitting on the shelf, but when this game came in, we have started using it daily again. We’ve actually been trying to outdo each other so it’s made for some fun mother-daughter bonding. Her and my teenager (Becka) both have DS’s (I just borrow one of theirs) and have loved that they can both play the game in multi-player mode but only have to have one game. There are … Read entire article »

Virtual Babies for Your Baby
We’ve found a new game for the Nintendo DS that I know Cameron will love (and I bet maybe your daughter’s will too). It’s called My Baby and it gives the player a chance to raise their own virtual baby (Since Cameron is wanting a baby brother or sister, I’m thinking this is the answer…LOL) My Baby (produced by SouthPeak games) will come out next month and allow children to nurture, engage and raise their baby at their own pace with their own sensitivities, instincts and style. When you first start the name, you can name your baby and choose it’s ethnicity and eye color. Then there is a pediatrician to help them care for their baby. They have to change their baby’s diaper and feed her. We played an … Read entire article »
