Shopping Weekend
We haven’t really been shopping since before Christmas. Between spending too much (don’t we all) and then our family emergency, there just hasn’t been time. We get out early today and have Monday off though so with the long weekend, it’s time to stock up again. Cameron also received some gift cards for Christmas that she’s dying to spend – including stocking up on some Cubic Zirconia jewelry and fun leggings. We’re starting today by going to get myself a passport and will pick up a few things while we’re out. Then we’ll probably do a good bit of our necessities shopping – groceries, shampoo, toothpaste, laundry detergent, etc Tomorrow we’re going to see a local orchestra play Disney songs! I can’t wait! Setting Up Christmas
After things at work being so busy and kind of “blah” lately, we decided that we were ready for Christmas and started putting up the Christmas tree a few weeks ago. We started bringing home the Christmas boxes from storage – the tree is up, the Christmas pillows, blankets,rugs and village is in the process of all being up. Day and a Half
Only a day and a half of school this week, and my online life will be active again. I’ve written a schedule to make sure that any new reviews and contests are written before next Sunday (when school starts back)..my goal is to have almost 3 weeks worth of content ready to post. Then we’ll be on Christmas break. It seems that teaching a new subject is more demanding than I expected, and I just haven’t been able to keep up with the reviews lately. Before I’m Back
Before I can come back in full, I have to go through weeks of emails – yes there are tons! Today I went through and filed or deleted about 4,000 messages, but now I have to go back and read and respond to many of them. There are personal messages, sponsor messages, and a few messages from you guys – my readers checking on me (love ya’ll). Behind But Catching Up
I completely over estimated the impact of going back to work and have completely neglected my blogging life this past couple weeks, but plan to focus the next couple days on catching up – I have winners to announce, contests to put up, and many reviews to write. Hopefully now that school is in session, my routines can be established and my blogging can come back to regularly posts. I have been so busy and hectic, I’ve REALLY been wishing I could hire someone to help around the house, maybe with secretarial work. Lots of Reviews Coming
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I know the reviews are coming slowly right now, but I have a lot arranged and several products have arrived in the last few days. I almost want to carry my box cutter around so I have it at the post office each day to open our packages. It’s getting exciting to check the mail with the fun products coming in.
