Halloween Notes – Keep Our Kids Safe
This time of year there are many things we need to remember. Halloween is the most dangerous day of the year for children to walk. Be sure to know where your children are at all times during Trick or Treating. Walk with them. Safe Kids USA has more tips for keeping the kiddos safe on Halloween. November 1st is Daylight Savings. Don’t forget to set your clocks back before you go to bed on Halloween. Change the batteries in your smoke alarms. Daylight Savings is a great time to do this every year. Parenting Necessity: CoverPlugs
All of you Mom’s have been there – trying to pull out those plug covers with your fingernails (or lack therof in my case). They always fit in real tight, but then when I needed to plug something in, it was a pain in the you know what to get that cover out and use the outlet. However, they actually seemed to get my daughter’s attention more than just the normal plug, and she was much better at getting them out than I was. But that was before CoverPlugs.
