I was recently discussing with a group of online friends how when we were young, we spent at least half the summer outside, and now if you walk out in many neighborhoods, you see no signs of children (even if you know your neighbors have kids). Make sure your kids have a safe BBQ experience by keeping them away from the flames and any sharp knives. Also, don’t forget to check that your child’s hamburger is fully cooked. Always keep a thermometer on hand to be sure all food has reached the appropriate inside temperature. Continue reading MommyDocs Summer Staycation Safety Tips

Yep. I’ve been not posting (I know, I know), but it’s now summer time. Maybe it won’t be “officially” summer for 3 more weeks, but once school is out, we consider it summer at my house. I’ve had 2 pool naps since Friday – that’s summer! We’ve cooked more outside than in – that’s summer! Cameron is signed up for the summer reading program as well as dance and twirling – that’s summer. The house is getting cleaned room by room, top to bottom – that ‘s summer, and I dn’t like my weight and have to do something about it – that’s summer.
I’ve been looking at some different exercise videos and I think I’ve got a plan for daily exercise Continue reading It’s Summer Time!!
