Review: Unique Painted Gifts for the Family from Tatutina
From organizing with a flair to simply doing some redecorating that is sure to catch your guests’ eyes, Tatutina is somewhere, I recommend you check out.
Tatutina is a small mother-daughter business run out of Massachusetts that produces painted gifts for the entire family. They have been in business since 1984 and are continuously adding more products to their collection.
They offer organization items such as Take Out Menu Boxes, Recipe Boxes, Keepsake Boxes, Storage totes, and Baby Memory Boxes. You’ll also find cute decorating items such as bookends, peg boards, waste baskets, and wooden letters that you can use to spell out a child’s name, “nursery,” “library,” or anything else you can dream up. One of the cutest items I think they offer is the Tatutina Medals where you can order adorable wooden medals with a matching ribbon that goes around the neck. There are celebratory medals such as “The Birthday Boy” or “The Birthday Girl” to simply everyday medals such as “Princess,” “Future Rock Star,” and “Grandma Loves Me.”
I received two of the wooden letters in my initials K and S, and was immediately impressed with how thick the wood was and how neat they looked. They letters come in painted designs with softballs, polka dots, stars, flowers, hearts, stripes, and butterflies. They come in a classic color set (think your boys) and a more pastel set of colors (that are pretty and girly). I took my set to my classroom and hung over my door, and all the girls I teach (I teach junior high and high school) noticed them right away. So while at first glance, you may think of many of the Tatutina products as being for very young children, you may be surprised at how much your older children would appreciate the letters, keepsake boxes, or bookends.
If you’d like to give Tatutina products a try, I’m especially happy to share with you that they have offered our readers, a free shipping code. If you make an order, use the online order code “mom” to receive free shipping on your order.
