Vacation Planning

As I have started planning our family vacation this summer, I’ve actually been contemplating being an online travel agent.  My family loves to travel. It would be great to help others plan such memorable times in their lives, and it’s something I could do while still maintaining my current job to make a little here or there (and I was thinking some of our vacations just might be research and tax write offs?).  We, as you know, are HUGE Disney fans, and this is something I’d really like to help people with, but I also would enjoy helping with people Las Vegas or Branson vacation packages. There’s also lots of places I’d love to travel to (and then help others) like the Northeast. Not sure what all would be involved yet though in trying to start something like this.  I saw mention that it helps it have  an associates degree in travel or tourism (or something like that). I looked at our local junior colleges though and no such option?  hmm..  Maybe just a fleeting thought, but I do think I would really enjoy it.

I am a single mom who loves to share her opinions with her friends. I am the oldest sibling of 3 brothers and 2 sisters. They have given me 8 nieces and nephews that I love spoiling every chance I have. We live in a small rural community in East Texas. I teach junior high and high school classes including high school English and business and technology courses to junior high and high school students. I enjoy blogging on various sites, keeping up with family and friends on Twitter, Facebook, and a few special forums, reading, almost all technology, and playing logic games. We are a Disney family taking trips to Walt Disney World or cruising with Disney almost every year.
